Policies & Procedures

The University of California, in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and university policy, prohibits discrimination against or harassment of any person at the University on the basis of a protected category and prohibits sexual harassment and sexual violence. These policies apply to participation and access to UCSF, including admission, education, employment, access, and patient services in University programs and activities.

The Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination (OPHD) is tasked with upholding these policies and coordinating the University's response to complaints that any of these policies has been violated.
